- 4-time NCHSAA state outdoor champion (100 in 1998; 200 in 1998 and the 400 in 1996 and 1997, setting an all-class state meet record in the 400 in 1996)
- 1998 NCHSAA all-class Indoor State Meet MVP
- Graduated ranked No. 1 all-time in 3 events: outdoor 400 meters (52.74, still No. 2 all-time), No. 1 in the indoor 400 meters (55.28, still No. 7 all-time); No. 1 in the indoor 500 (1:17.42) and was also No. 4 in the outdoor 200.
